StoryBird.com         Another tool introduced to us last week is the Story Bird website, which is another technological tool that helps in developing the writing skill. I truly like Story Bird website because the pictures are awesome and appear very unique. Also, I like how each story has a special theme like the cartoons or the black and white movies. Moreover, there is an option that allows printing the story to look like a short story book. I could see my self-using this website in a writing activity for Grade-Five students and by the end of the semester, I could make a small bookstore for my kids to share their creativity in writing with the school. Additionally, I think that Story Bird is an enjoyable tool to play with not only for students but also for teachers. StoryPatch.com        Creativity is one of the most important skills to succeed in life. Therefore, parents and teachers are required to help the kids in developing this skill from an early age. Increasing the child ability to create and think out of the box will help him/her in learning other different languages. Today, technology makes it much easier to develop the creativity skill, especially for children. Last week in “Integrating Technology and Literacy” class, we were introduced to an interesting technological tool that helps parents and teachers in improving the kids’ creativity.
