ReadWriteThink
One of the most interesting technological tools, that I have been introduced to a few days ago is the ReadWriteThink website, which uses to create a Haiku poem and Acrostic poem. It one of the best technological tools ever for poetry addicts'. At first, the idea of this website was not clear to me but trying to discover the benefits of it. I found that ReadWriteThink is my new game. I always love poetry and writing poetry. Therefore, having this kind of websites is a great gift to me. Also, I believe it is going to be great for literature's teacher to be used as a tool in an activity by the end of a course about writing poems or an introduction lesson to literature to help student especially the English language learner to understand some of the literature terms. Moreover, it is going to be great for the young learner to memorize the new vocabularies. Additionally, the website provides variety of lesson plan to help teachers.
Write opinion pieces in
which they introduce the topic or book they are writing about, state an
opinion, supply reasons that support the opinion, use linking words (e.g., because,
and, also) to connect opinion and reasons, and provide a concluding
statement or section.
Write narratives in which they recount a well-elaborated event
or short sequence of events, include details to describe actions, thoughts, and
feelings, use temporal words to signal event order, and provide a sense of
closure.
With guidance and support from adults, use a variety of digital
tools to produce and publish writing, including in collaboration with peers.
Write opinion pieces on topics or texts, supporting a point of
view with reasons and information.
Introduce a topic or text
clearly, state an opinion, and create an organizational structure in which
